DJதMIA is an open-format DJ fusing music in a variety of genres including Dancehall, HipHop, Afrobeat and Tamil music. Her love for music started with composers like AR Rahman and Ilayarajah. Eventually she started to branch into the diverse sounds of cultures, languages and vibes around her. As a Carnatic vocalist and having delved into learning a variety of instruments, DJதMIA has worked to create a sound that infuses Tamil culture into music from around the world.
